Jonas V. Bilenas

I have been using SQL and SAS® software in the Banking Industry for a number of decades. This site contains some of the papers I have presented since 2000 at SAS User Conferences (NESUG, SGF, SESUG, PNWSUG, SUGI, and PharmaSUG) and at Local SAS User Group meetings (PHILASUG, HASUG, NYASUG, NJSUG). Data for these presentations are not from banks I worked at but are simulated data, fabricated data, or data obtained from other industries taken from web sources or text books. I also had authored the book “The Power of PROC FORMAT” published by SAS® Press but is no longer in print. You maybe able to find a copy on Amazon.

Also during my academic days I presented at American Statistical Association (ASA), The Institute of Management Sciences (TIMS) and other conferences. Not based on using SAS® which I learned during my corporate years.

I am currently available for presentations, typically at SAS User Group Conferences and Local SAS User Group Meetings.

Note that my blog heading name, SASATICIAN, is not a mistake but a nickname given to me by a colleague by mistake a few decades ago. She knows who she is and I thank her for the nickname I use now and then.
